Professional Development That Actually Invests in Your Growth — Not Just Your Paycheck
At Children’s Specialized ABA, we don’t just hire clinicians — we develop them. From entry-level RBTs to Board Certified Behavior Analysts to senior clinical leadership, we provide the training, mentorship, tuition support, and career pathways that help you grow professionally while making a real difference in children’s lives.
Backed by our partnership with RWJBarnabas Health, we offer the institutional support and resources independent ABA providers simply can’t match.
From your first day as an RBT to senior clinical leadership — we show you exactly how to get there.
We promote from within. No guessing about advancement.
Many of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts, senior BCBAs, and clinical directors started as Registered Behavior Technicians right here. We don’t just talk about career growth — we map it out, support it, and make it happen.
The pathway:
Competitive salaries at every level. Performance-based advancement. Leadership development programs.
This isn’t a typo. We pay half your BCBA tuition.
The Milestones program removes the single biggest financial barrier to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. If you’re an RBT or BCBA candidate working toward certification, we’ll cover 50% of your coursework costs.
What you get:
This program exists because we believe exceptional clinicians are developed, not just hired.
Exclusive tuition discounts at 8+ partner universities

Because working for a healthcare system is fundamentally different from working for an independent ABA provider.
Every clinician on our team completes hospital-grade onboarding that goes well beyond what most ABA providers require:
Ongoing professional development:
We don’t just assign you a supervisor and hope for the best. Every RBT is paired with an experienced BCBA mentor. Every new BCBA works closely with a senior BCBA for their first year.
Mentorship includes:
Many of our current clinical directors actively mentor BCBAs who aspire to leadership roles.
Working for a provider partnered with RWJBarnabas Health means:
We understand that burnout is real in autism care. We build schedules that work:
